Donations

This program relies solely on contributions from individual donors, corporate sponsors and grants from amazing individuals, foundations and community groups. Every dollar is meaningful and makes a critical impact on our ability to continue helping our nation’s heroes and their rescue dogs. Your tax deductible donation to War Dogs Making It Home makes you part of something so remarkable, the gift of saving two lives at a time.

We are only able to do this with the support of great people like you. This program is for the veterans and is at NO FINANCIAL COST to them. They have already paid and then some….

Becoming a Superhero

$1 - ANY - We are beyond grateful to anyone who donates any amount to support this cause and making a difference for these heros.

$5,000 - Sponsorship from rescue to graduation

Once the dog is rescued and brought to our kennel, it’s about 4-8 weeks until they meet their veteran. During this time the dog receives daily care and any necessary veterinary care, grooming, boarding, food, basic obedience training as well as specialized training for PTSD service dog work. When the veteran and service dog are pair bonded (matched), they will go through 8-12 weeks of bonding, training and working together at War Dogs Making It Home until they graduate together and get to go home together. This level of sponsorship also includes a go-home package with a one month’s supply of healthy food, a professional leather handling leash, collar, blanket, vest (including patches), stainless steel bowls, to-go bowl and of course treats with all the fixin’s to ensure a comfortable stress-free transition for the New Team.

$10,000 - Sponsorship from rescue through the ENTIRE two year program

This level of sponsorship includes everything above in addition to classes and ongoing group support for the entire two year program. Any individual, group or company that sponsors a veteran / service dog team at either level is acknowledged with their name or logo on a patch that the dog proudly wears on their vest. This is a major point of pride for both donors and veterans.
